I just saw a few days ago and drive an Imola Yellow S4. Great car. However, I have doubts about the paint matching between molding and metal parts.

Has anyone else encountered this mismatch? I know Ginster Yellow VW GTI's have had some of the problems.

Is it better to get the Nagaro which most probably have less of a difference in shades of the same color between plastic and metal parts.

I ordered an Imola Yellow and now I have some doubts and need input.

Wait and see. It's really going to come down to how picky you want to be.

My Imola arrives tomorrow at dealer and should be with me by friday. I test drove another Imola two weeks ago and did not notice anything. I have been involved in restoration projects and believe that it is all in the quality of the paint job. I would not worry about factory paint, but you need to make sure the best stuff is used (and correctly) should you ever encounter damage on the paintjob. This is a must for all colors but definitevely it would be more noticeable in the Imola, Nogaro, and the Red.
