I've SFTA, searched 139 different threads, but would still like to hear up-to-date impressions for those running K04 hybrids. In particular, how much measurable improvement did you pick up (i.e. Dyno, 1/4 track, FATS, etc)? I'm about ready to pull the trigger on these and get custom tuned, but would like to hear more feedback on this type of setup.
Thanks.
Thanks.

but i was stuck in a bad spot and a fellow AWer had the brids on the shelf and let me borrow them until i had mine rebuilt to return to him.
25-40 wheel HP over PJ's with a good tune is what i have heard and to be honest thats not worth the money to me.

1) brids will end up costing about the same or less than new k04's (i bought a blown set)
2) I would need new downpipes
if I was starting from scratch, it seems that straight rs6 is the way to go

It can actually back fire and perform worse then a pjk04 setup... theres no real data out there so save your money and move on to another kit or get real RS6SSS.

Talking with Brian@Avalon about making the switch to hybrids. I'm currently running about 21 PSI and looking to run 25 with the hybrids. After getting a custom tune, I would hope that 40-50 AWHP would be achievable, no?

Remember, at our altitude, they're spinning a lot faster to sustain that PSI than they would be at sea-level. I destroyed a pair of K04's at 22psi up here. So I was being conservative.
And remember, boost isn't everything. With the hybrids, you can flat out get more airflow, so you don't need as much boost to get good timing as you would with regular K04's.
Those hybrids treated me very well, and were still quiet and powerful when I sold that car last summer.
