So I'm in San Antonio this weekend and I am at a Cingular wireless store here and I run into the GM of the Audi dealership here. I asked him if he had any information on when the new S4 would come out. He said maybe next year or in '04 he also went on to say that it was going to have two engine options either a twin turbo or a NA V8. This was the first time I had heard about there being a twin turbo option. Anyone else hear this before? I am just late?

There has been some talk of a tt v6 with 310 hp that would drop into the TT and possibly S4

Why offer two engine options for an S-car when they don't for the S6 or S8 or our S4s? I just don't see them drastically changing their tradition of one engine offering for S-cars. And certainly not two engine options that put out roughly the same power (V8: 340-360hp 2.9tt: 320-350hp).

He did say that there were a lot of new things coming from Audi in the next few years. He was really excited too.

it will more than likely be available here when the new S4 rolls out. RS6 made it over, the whole new generation of "S-cars" is going to now include the "RS" cars too(US Soil). It will more than likely cost a pretty penny, but its not doubtful/unlikely. I am hearing this from a good source BTW...

It will be a 2 door coupe with a 340hp 4.2 V8 engine. No word yet on a RS4 version but anything is possible.
