Default Good job Mike!

Maybe I should put my blue springs back in then. I thought the higher spring rate was a bad thing. You think it is a good thing?

Default That's only 'cuz you didn't ask. I also have used stock valves for you to test.

Are you willing to do a "round 2" of tests?

Default thanks man.

well, as far as the stiffer springs go, you can see that it will reduce the dump action response(opening) time, due to the higher force needed and the larger chamber that the forge needs to have evacuated....but on the closure point (from vacuum to boost)...you'll be ok.

regardless, i'm sure it should be ok. you might want to just be on the lookout for irregular boost like usual. if i had those springs, i'd probably put them in...are the blue ones supposed to come with the valves? maybe i can add those to my test...

Default superb write up! Nice job... thanks for the info!

Once my car is back from the body shop, first thing I'm gonna do is take apart my Forges celan and libricate them.

Default That's not true. With the stock valves, I would get constant oil blow-by, covering the valve

internals in oil. With my Bailey's I have NONE of that. I may be wrong, but a lack of oil seem to be a good thing (I'm not being sarcastic here - this is a valid question - it may just be that oil in the vacuum hoses is needed for long term operation).
