Default Initial Impressions of Milltek Exhaust

I finally got my Milltek exhaust installed today and all I can saw is WOW! This exahaust is leaps and bounds better than the stock exahaust in everything from fit to function to looks. At idle, you definitely hear a lower grumble which is sweet. You can hear the difference through first and second gears, but as you run through the gears the exhaust mellows out. Being 21 years old, I thought the exhaust might be too "mellow" for my tastes but this is not the case. I think a louder exhaust would eventually become too annoying, but this is just my opinion. The Milltek along with my Abt chip is a very impressive combination and the sandblaster sound is gone. I don't know how to explain it, but the car just feels more "together" with the exhaust. That is about it for now, and I will try to post pics later this week. I just wanted to give some initial impressions. Thanks.

Default Mine was installed yesterday, and I couldn't put it any better than VelociRaptor...

so I won't try, except to say there is *no* drone at cruising speeds, and I swear the sound of the turbos spooling is more audible now. I like that. Those burley 3" tips sticking out the back of my Avant look pretty sweet, as well. VelociRaptor is 21 -- I'm 53, fwiw.

Default Milltek exhausts suck.... stock is SO much better...

Now that I've convinced you, wanna trade? ;-)

Enjoy the Milltek... if I had $1K to spend on an exhaust, I'd get that in a heartbeat!
