You can warm (just a little heat) them in the oven (like quickaudi said, use an electric oven... ask him why
) and then carefully pry the pieces apart with a screw driver or something similar. Some of the B7 people have done it recently in order to do the 'clear corner' mod.
I took a 2-piece e-code from my A4 apart a few years ago. Its not too terribly hard, but it is messy.

I think I did a lower temp for longer like 275* for 15 min.
Just watch the glue and go slow. You don't want any of that to get on the lenses or anywhere. Also, make sure you seal them well once yo're done.
