Need advice from an aquamist wizz..
We just finished installing this Aquamist kit on a friend's S4... We went WOT a couple times to test the car, everything was working perfectly, no hesitation. We come back, stop the car and leave it there for 1 hour. When we turned the key to start the car again (1 hour later), the car started slowly and roughly (2 seconds) like when you're running Xylene mix on cold starts; once the motor was running, it was fine after that. I never had that problem on mine. Car is running twin 0.5mm jet on GIAC X, Stage2, using 35% Methanol + 65% dist. water.
Is it methanol related (well known for rough starts) or is it traces of water from the previous runs (jet size related?).

that the wiring is correct and it isnt blasting away when the car is idling or something.
simple, but could happen. the switch is preset at 10psi though.
I have also heard the carbon buildup theory as well. So much carbon will be removed at first the chunks coming out cause problems. I dont know much about that though. Im finishing mine up in the next week or so with a lot of other stuff. just waiting on a fabricated tank.
question for you. how did you wire the EDL kill switch? please be in detail, and if you had to use a diode, what kind/where.

This forum isn't all that helpful answering questions about the aquamist setup since there aren't a lot of people using them.

Aquamist web site
