Default you should have went with same pins BlitzKrieg used on his CF hood

Default that's a proper racing hold-down pin...

what's going to happen though...is vibration is likely to crack the resin around the pin over time.

These are screwed into a steel spoiler support bracket and before I repaired them, the glass was pretty crazed:

Yah I know it offers the best support, but surely someone can do something better with the aesthetic

Default well, these are "quick releases"...

they're designed mainly for speed (flip up the pin and pull and you're good to go) so definitely have no thought to style given to them.

Default Yah - I think an electromagnetic strip along the front underside should be developed :)

Flip a switch inside to turn it off, but when on it distributes the load across the entire from of the hood - attaches to the hood via epoxy or whatever.

Though epoxy isn't as strong, the force would be distrubuted over a wide area - maybe that would work ;-).
