Installed the MTM exhaust last night (m)....
Very smooth installation. Took about 3 hours, by myself. Probably could do it in about an hour with an extra set of hands. The hardest part is removing the stock one because it is all one piece. Needed to use boxes to prop up the exhaust while removing.
My initial impression of the MTM is that it is so quiet. REALLY quiet. definitely not the exhaust for people who want a loud sound. It is definitely deeper sounding at idle. But really close to stock. It sounds very nice at WOT also. I've only driven a few highway miles, but I could not detect any hint of drone. In fact this is a really pleasant sounding exhaust. Audi should have done this exhaust for stock.
The engine reving is a lot smoother now. I don't know how to describe it, but accleration/shifting/WOT... the engine just feels buttery smooth. I don't know if it is my imagination, but there is definitely more torque in the low end.
-oh and one other thing. The MTM is just beautiful. I have to figure out a way to get under the car and clean it!
That's all for now, I will post some pics.

Damn! Comment #3 - Your pushing me Alex! :-)
Gotta convince the wife to get a job to support my bad habits and desires! I'm starting to relate all purchases into mods. We need to buy a new fridge and all I can think is that this is an exhauset system or chip/ECU.
Perhaps we could hook up Sunday aternoon and let me take a peek!
