I finished installing my Silvervision bulbs and citylights on my e-codes last night. (Sorry , no pictures). As you may know, the connecting stock harness to the corners has 3 slots and the e-code bulb holder only has 2 prongs. All the articles I've read say you should splice into the wires from the corner power feed and solder and tape accoringly. I found it easier to use .110" male disconnects and attach them to the the wires from the connecting adapter and plug wire #1 (from the adapter) to slot #2 on the stock harness and #2 to slot #3. Likewise, the yellow wire from the city lights can simply attach in the same way to slot #1, which is the parking light power feed. This is a much easier and quicker way of doing the wiring than cutting, splicing and soldering. All I did afterwards was tape up the connecting assembly to keep out water and dirt and it was done. Anyhow, for the people thinking about doing the e-codes with single filament corner bulbs with city lights, you'll find this is a better way. Well, my contribution to the S4 forum is done for the month... back to the off-topic.

You basically have half of the SV bulb mount, right?
You have the socket that the bulb plugs into, but not the weatherpack connector that attaches to the back of that?
This is not a very weatherproof solution...you're better off getting the connector, splicing it into the OEM corner harness (no soldering/taping required, just use butt connectors), and the entire setup will work perfectly and be weatherproof

which has 2 yellow wires attached to it. Normally one would take the ends of those wires, strip them, and attach to the power feed by cutting into the black power line. Perhaps I shouldve take some pictures.

make a sipmle wire harness and shrink wrap the OEM conector and the 3 connections and plug the rest in .
I have put my e codes in just waiting on the city lights one question did you go thru the original harness in the headlights and pop the little green plug out and push the hot lead for the city light in it and was the little plug easy to come out ?
So thanks for the idea

btw, the power wire will not lock into the connector unless you first remove the purple clip on the inside.
Look into the headlight side of that connector...there's a small U-shaped purple clip that slides out through a slot in the connector. Slide that out with a small screwdriver, pop the citylight power wire in until it locks, then slide the purple clip back in.
