Towards the engine. On the metal post there is a corresponding recess for that lip.

Default So for further clarification the snub mount is rounded on one side...

is rounded edge closer or further from the engine?

Default The instructions show it pretty well which way it goes. My question is

How about the fit you have between the outside of the mount and the raditor side? When i installed my mount the other week, there was about 1/8" clearance between the two... To me this just means more slope. Is this correct?
