That was 2 tanks ago, and I take my tank down till the fuel light is on. So I'm pretty sure there's no 100 left in there.

I wonder if the 100 octane adjusted my fuel trims or something to cause me to get better mpg?

Same in town driving. Same driving habbits, same place to get fuel (other than the 100).

I'm talking like an extra ~30 miles to the tank.

WTF?

Not a phenomenon at all: It cleaned your injectors and the top of your cylinders/plugs.

I usually get worse MPG....but it could be the lead from the C16.

Default Interesting, after two full tanks of 100, I now have a rough idle

idle misfires, mostly on cyl 1. I'm gonna do the 1 hr water/fuel/detergent @ 2500 rpm treatment my mech recommended.

Maybe I had rough idle before, but didn't notice.

Glad 100 oct is still $4.70/gal.

Default your 100 oct is less than 1 dollar difference from my 91. Also my car always ran smoother on 100

than it did on pump... never heard of it being rougher.

Default afaik the toulene actually places deposits on those parts. that is why you should not use more than

a 30% mix, that is what I always understood anyway.
