My take on 1.0 bar of boost as previously posted...
Real world air temp is around 140F or 60C (333K) AFTER charge cooling. One mole of air has a volume of 27.3 at 60C, 1 atm.
I assume volumetric efficiency of the 2.7 engine to be 92.5% at 6000rpm which is optimistic. Peak torque starts dropping off long before this.
(6000rpm x 2.7L)/(60sec x 2revs per intake)= 135 Liter/sec
135 L/s x 0.925 x 2.0 bar absolute = 250 L/s
250 L/s / 27.3 L/mole = 9.16 mole/s
9.16 mole/s x 29.0g/mole = 266 g/sec
As for GIAC 1.3 bar, is this at 6000 rpm?????
If I'm missing something here, please let me know
