Default Intermittent vibration/shudder when lifting off throttle???

Occasionally I get a vibration/shudder when I lift off the throttle while still in gear. If I get back in the throttle even just a little and then lift again it will usually go away.

My first guess would be rear diff mounts and I should have the new PureMS mounts at my door any day now. I might also need to get the ASP one or wait for PureMS' solution.

I have ASP motor and trans mounts so it should not be these (although I need to double check that everything is tight).

Have any of you experienced anything similar and if so what was it?

TIA

Default had the same problem, happened to be the AWE DTS was missing a bolt

and the aluminium spacer was moving around. Right on the middle of the bar.
Question is do you even have a DTS?

Default Thanks- no DTS but I will jack it up and nut and bolt everything to make sure everything is tight...

when I put the diff mounts in. Might try the hockey puck mod for a while too.

Default Make sure those ASP mounts are tight

I've had some issues with tranny mount bolts loosening up on me.

Default I would say yes, but only because I usually notice it on the freeway and by then the car...

is up to operating temp. Are you thinking exhaust rubbage?

Default Where is your vibration coming from? Is it towards the front in the center of the car?

I'm curious because I get a very strange and audibly vibration as well and it comes from this location only when the car is running fully hot and often on the highway. I have no clue what it could be though... and no one has been able to help me resolve the issue thusfar.

Default It feel like the center or rear of the car and only occasioally on off throttle. But...

as you know vibrations can be pretty tricky to isolate some times.

Is yours all of the time or just when you lift?

Default I loctited the bottom bolts after they loosened up. Checked em this weekend and they were fine

The upper ones I was able to crank down a 1/4 turn and that seemed to tighten things up a little. Not sure if they backed out or not but I don't have loctite on those (although they have loosened up in the past... just didn't have loctite on hand).
