VASCAR is an interesting device and it works well. Its also V1, 8500 proof etc.

What you will find in this link in a quick summary, is that VASCAR can be faulted very easily when used in short measuring distances. If you ever get tagged with a VASCAR ticket and can't talk your way out of it like the lovely 85-4kq-girl did you still do have some hope. If the cop was measuring at a distance of 100 feet his margin of error for a 35mph zone is over 30mph!!!

This can also be handy guide when a local pig is looking to cash in on something he may not be even doing right....Then again if he tags you over a distance of mile (which rarely happens) your SOL.

All non-staties use VASCAR only, by law. Always be aware of those lines in PA...

At least if they use radar, the V1 should get them.

And as far as I know, they still can't use laser...right?

And for sure they can't radar you while going in the opposite direction like they can in Ohio.
