Default I've been delinquent in posting a couple of things. First up tonight is stock vs. the solid rubber

tranny mounts. I didn't check the p/ns before installation but Zev calls them RS4 tranny mounts. I think the rs4 uses the same mounts we have on one side and a different one on the other side.

Anywho, whatever they are -- they reduced trans slop as much as the snub and dts combined.

Call zev @ avalonmotorsports to order. IIRC, they are cheap, too.

http://www.avalonmotorsports.com</a

Default Well, theoretically there has to be more NVH but if you're looking to limit drivetrain

movement that's going to be a comprimise. I cannot feel or hear the difference though but there is very, very little driveline slack now with the snub, the dts, and these.

N.B., I've also seen some higher than normal knock sensor activity that *MAY* be related to this. I had a bit of an exhaust rub that could've been contributing to some vibration being introduced.

I've solved the exhaust rub but have yet to relog to see if the knock activity is back down.

I had the DTS and snub first and have now added these. It reduced the movement further.

Interesting. Wonder if you can't run as much timing anymore

Default No, it still runs the same amount i just have seen a lil higher knock voltages (still below the

point where it starts pulling timing).

In other words, you probably won't be able to add as much as you could have before.....

Cool, theoretically yes, but there's always reality.

Default Maybe, but who's to say it's attributed to those guys? There were too many changes to single that

out when those went on. Let me relog some and i'll post my finding. I could always swap the old ones back on and log vs these, it's only about a 30 min job with a lift.
