I've read somewhere that putting on a turbo timer is a waste of money because S4 has the after-run

Default If someone found/made this sensor what temperature...

...would everyone want it to activate at??

Keep in mind the current setting is at 112C, the engine thermostat is set at 92C.

Default i'd say 80-90C maybe

might hook up the vag tonite and see where my engine temps are comparied to oil temp gauge.

BTW WHY CANT I FIND OIL TEMP in the damn VAG. does it simply not exist for the 2.7?

Why? What does the oil temp on the dashboard really indicate then?

Default That means that you dont really know when you could turn off your engine... if there's only a way to

know... it'll make life so much easier

Default the temperature of the oil :)

unfortunately, the temp of the TURBOS is usually much, much higher

Default My 98 vr6 gti had the same pump and that thing ran....

all the time here in sunny florida. Hey that is it. Maybe the switch that comes on 98 vr6s. Its the same pump and I am sure it will be the same relay. Someone want to try that!

Default question, if you just short it out, won't it ALWAYS run for 10 mins after shutdown, then turn off?

and maybe just make a simple toggle switch and run it to the interior... off for most things, on if you are romping the engine.

Yes it will run for the 10min max if you just short it out.
