I've STFA but did not find a definite answer, are the B5 RS4 seats a direct swap with B5 S4 seats?

As in no modifications necessary?

i know a spot to purchase NEW sets however i cant seem to get ahold of them anymore... (vendor in UK for recaro)

Default Not correct. The oem rs4 seat uses 3 points to mount, the s4 seat uses 4 points.
You have to weld in the front support piece for the rs4 seat slider.

FWIW, I have 2 oem rs4 recaros with silver alcantara inserts that have never been installed. I have all the mounting hardware to install them. I'm going to sell them if anyone is interested. Yes, they will be expensive.
