Just curious... has anyone done springs without doing shocks, just to close the wheel gap a bit?

I know most of the time it doesn't work, but just curious as to why exactly and if anyone has had any experience with it

had Eibach springs installed on my old VW Jetta without doing shocks, and ended up getting Bilstein shocks installed afterwards because the ride sucked so much. If you're not installing it yourself, it's a waste of $$ on labor to essentially do it twice.

Forgot to mention that I've had the car this way for 3-4 years now without issues. Just don't go with a race type spring rate and the stock shocks will be fine. I'll upgrade the shocks when the stockers are done.
