just curious....how you would you "break in" an engine?

although my previous comments said dino oil is needed first this is not the complete truth
With all the new technology out today motors are running much tighter tolerances and new designs which are coming out of the factory with synthetic oil. no break in.

Motor, I think this car may have more work then either Mike or Mark's car
Just from various tidbits that were shared. I don't really know anything, but would be very interested in more details!

once i get the maf from jacob and put some more miles on, i will then start the tuning process. i've
been up in the air on what to do. i've been talking to mark and simpply for ideas. i will make the decision soon!
are there any specific questions that you guys had in mind?

you should call someone who knows audi motors inside and out(unless whoever does your work knows)
find out if dino is needed to break in? I would think the audi motor has very tight tolerances and may not need to be broken in?

actually just read thru your sig :) had to take a pee break in between but I got thru it
I heard something about a 3.0 block, but I see you had your 2.7 bored to 2.8 (which is what our blocks started life as, right?).
then see a bunch of other stuff, one qustion is why would you raise CR when your still using forced induction, turbos? I would think you would of tried your best to bring the CR down, unless you tend to solely run race fuel.
Other then that the components look solid and much of the RS4 components your using is what I want to get to, but first let's see what our motors are capable of in the S4 trim
