Default Feels good, doesn't it? Go to a drivers school thru your local Quattro Club chapter....

and do it all day...

I've done two track days at NHIS with the Northeast Quattro Club chapter; the first day was sunny (beautiful), the second was RAIN. Lots of rain.

The instructor was teaching talking about oversteer and driftin...and mentioned that the rain might allow us to practice over steer and driftin, but then retracted that comment b/c we were all Quattro (he had a 928 Porsche track car).

I then asked, if we did want to play, where?
He said, you wont be able to....I said S4, chip&exhaust....340hp. He said "oh...you want to try it here and here"

=-)

Default How do I find out about Local chapters and what not? I'd like to start going to local

events and get togethers. I am in Moilne,IL about 2 hours west of Chicago right on the Illinois and Iowa border. Is there anything close or do I have to plan a long trip?

How much do the Skip Barber schools cost, and where are they? How would I find out about them?

Default Well you are dealing with volunteers and using the participants own car.

For 90% of the ppl that come to one for the first time, QC is more then enough. The whole point is to teach them car control in _their_ car. put me in a modded neon and lets see how that translates to an AWD luxury sedan/wagon. I respect your skills, but don't slam it. Everyone gets exactly what we preach. we don't hide anything.
