just got 2 tickets 1 for no front license plate and 1 for tints (M)(kind of long)

*knock on wood trim* - I haven't had a front plate in 13 years in CT and no tickets
a handful of tickets for speeding, but never one for a missing front plate. Of course, this spans to when some plates were issued as single only, while others were issued in pairs (distinguishable from whether the "Connecticut" and "Constitution State" were on the top/bottom or bottom/top. When the changed to the current plate, everyone was issue two plates - one of the reasons for the new plate being to clear up that "inconsistancy" with single/double. Since then, I still haven't had any problems, but as you say, it's only a matter of time...
