Thanks SellCell for the info & pics!
Love it... very subtle and clean IMHO... plus it's easy to remove if I choose to.
Instructions:
1. BMW part #51-71-7-893-671 (BFD if it's a bimmer part IMHO)
2. have a body shop paint it
3. you can buy the double sided tape directly from BMW part #51-71-7-901-759 (supposedly it is thinner and will allow the spoiler to sit more flush) or have the body shop give you ~3 ft. of ¾" double sided tape
4. put the tape on the spoiler without pulling the tape covering off the trunk side
5. prep the trunk lid... clean and remove wax where the spoiler is going to go
6. have a friend help you line it up on the trunk lid because you'll have to bend it a bit and you'll want the same relief across the trunk lid.... then mark the ends and the middle with tape and practice putting it on like you are *really* putting it on.... mine wound up ~¼" from the trunk lid edge on either side and matched up really well with the body curves and lines... YMMV
7. pull the tape covering off
8. put the spoiler on starting at one side and work your way across
9. wax the spoiler and trunk lid around the spoiler
If you mess up (like I did the first time) use a hair dryer to heat between the spoiler and the trunk lid and pry it off (you gotta pry pretty hard but it can take it) and reapply... though the tape probably won't take more than a couple times. That's the beauty... if you want to lose it any time you can! (hopefully not on the freeway.. but it feels VERY solid on there).

1. BMW part #51-71-7-893-671 (BFD if it's a bimmer part IMHO)
2. have a body shop paint it (got mine painted for $25 in under 3 hrs last Friday)
3. have the body shop give you ~3 ft. of 1" double sided tape
4. put the tape on the spoiler without pulling the tape covering off the trunk side
5. prep the trunk lid... clean and remove wax where the spoiler is going to go
