just so they don't give you space .. in europe most times if there is room drivers move toward the right a bit and put the right turn signal so you know they are aware of you passing. you'll never see that here in us. o well they learn the hard way .. there is nothing they can do

I usually only do this as a last resort and only after it's pretty obvious that the cars in front of me have no desire to pass. I'll skip at least one passing zone to see if they want to make a move or not. So many drivers just don't feel comfortable passing on 2 lane roads and follow so close to one another that you really don't have any choice....except to just sit behind them, but I don't have the patience for that.

Never really seen anyone called out on it. Had a few people try that routine on me too, but they generally didnt have a chance....

Well I wound out third and went back into 4th for a bit.... I did keep my foot down for a while after passing the front car so I could hit 100... :-) I was probably done passing around 85, and started moving back in at about 90. The extra 10 was just for fun since my brother was riding shotgun and wanted to see how much fun 3rd and 4th is.

Now in slower cars with very little giddy-up, I've noticed the other car trying to speed up to prevent me from passing. A few times I've had to back off as a result. Those are the times I wish I could grab them by the neck and explain to them that they can either pass, or let me pass, but their "stunts" are completely uncalled for.

If you have the visability then there is no limit. Just have to resist the urge to go too fast and to watch the traffic you are passing for signs that they are about to pull out. You need to be sure that you can stop in time if someone does pull left and nail the brakes and duck right if someone is coming.
