just hit a pothole and tire went flat immediatley....

Yup...my old integra...
I kept the tire pressures up to spec religiously. A sharp corner on the pothole hit the edge of the tire just right...left a hole in the sidewall, and a small nick on the edge of the rim. Rim wasn't bent, suspension arm was...ever so slightly. Alignment guy said the caster was on the edge of spec. The tires were 55 series V rated Michelins BTW.
