Default just install Stasis torsen 4:1 diff and hear a small amount of whine noise
is this normal ? sound like a gear noise it not that loud but audible enough......

normal - most audible in 1st and 2nd gear

not normal - the diff should not make any noise. check the installation

Default what do I need to check ? I follow the bently manual and install everything as instructed
what else did I miss ?

i was in a car that had the stasis diff and rebuilt trans. it may have been the trans whining though

a gear whine is absolutely not normal, a "crunchy" feeling at parking lot speeds and full lock is

Default there are shims and a large belleville washer
make sure all are installed correctly and with proper lash. Also did you do a gear oil change at the same time?

Does the noise increase with speed and gearchanges?

Default no gear oil change, noise seem to stay as a same level at all speed.
maybe washer ?
