just had a test drive. Ifound out that it read -20 when idle and if you floor it, it spike up to 15psi and will settle at around 11psi. Is this normal?? BTW, I got the garrett chip

Default Perfectly normal

At idle, the car will run vacuum, i.e., it is sucking in air, so thats why it is negative boost. At full throttle you will see 15 psi, sometimes more depending on the weather. Then usually, at higher rpm's you will see the boost back off.

I got the Apex and read in psi, I tap it on the vacumm line in front of the engine. only tested 1st and 2nd gear though.

You need to be in a higher gear to reach full boost. Sounds right to me.

I had it mount in the driverside upper air vent(temparory). But still very clean looking. waiting for a custom gauge pod.

Default sounds right

typical results similar to chipping a 1.8T...your boost is set at 15 psi, but as your revs get higher, your turbos cant flow enough to maintain 15 psi, so you see your boost (and power curve) taper off in the upper rev range.
