Default Also, someone suggested that high CF's might be linked to high EGT's........

Well, I guess not. My CF's are high, with low EGT's AAAAHHHHHHHH !!!!!!!!

Default Agreed, did you log any back to back runs ?

You need to get to the mid 800's, give or take a bit, on back to back runs IMO.

Default I'm gonna come out and say egt's have nothing to do with CF.

Egts will give you throttle cut, limp mode (that may involve a weak timing map, but is completely different from a CF), and fuel dump, but will not affect CFs.

CFs are generated entirely by the knock sensor inputs. They are a slight retarding adjustment to the *areas* of the ignition tables where the ecu has decided the knock threshold has been crossed.

The thing that is confusing people is that we can log knock sensor voltage, but the ecu does not just look at the knock sensor's voltage exclusively. Knock voltage is a very rough summation of all that is contained in a knock sensor's signal.

Default How much boost are you running ? You may be able to up it just a tad, rather than

pulling fuel ..

MBC set at 18psi spike, and it tapers to 15-16psi up top.

Default Repost. I've gone over all of this with him ;p

He has uber stock injectors. This is all on 4 bar IIRC.

Default I just posted for reference, based on last nights thread about CF's...........

Someone theorized there might be a correlation between CF's and EGT's. I was just showing that there doesn't seem to be, at least not on my car. Can't have enough charts and information, right?? Also, this isn't quite the 4bar FPR. I had a couple of 4bars, so I thought that I would give a shot at crushing one, to create something in between the OEM and the 5bar that Mike made me. It seems to have worked. The OEM has part throttle LTFT's are about -5-6, the Piggie 5bar's are about -14-16, and this one's are about -9-10.

I meant Jonas was resposting info, not you. Keep up the good work, Todd.
