Default just looking for some opinions on a possible S4 purchase I found....

Here's the skinny, 02 black on black 6spd, bose, cold, prem, 4000 miles, was originally delivered in February. Car looks clean, but did have some damage on one of the wheels (nothing that can't be fixed). CarFax came back clean. Price is 38.4k with 17k for my 99.5 1.8tqms with 41k miles. Car was purchased by a wholesaler who is dumping for a 911. This sounds like a pretty good deal to me. Just need to decide to pull the trigger or wait for the 04.

Default Sounds like a pretty good deal...

I have the exact same car in silver/onyx and it was about 44k after tax & license fees (40k purchase price). Considering it only has 4k miles on it, you just saved yourself 6k. Make sure the factory warranty is intact and that it wasn't a test-drive car. Other than that, it sounds like a pretty good deal.

Default '00 S4 - a great deal?

I found a Silver 2000 S4 5 speed with only 9,407 miles at an Audi Dealership for $33,900 and I talked them down to $32,400. I put $500 deposit down to hold it until the title comes back from Audi America Financial. Sounds like a steal to me!! I asked if there was any reason it was so little money for so few miles... just a family of four that never drove it.

Default 5-speed? I think all manual B5 S4s are 6-speed

That sounds like a good deal considering some here are/were selling their cars with 20k miles for about that price. Plus, if it's being sold at an Audi dealership, it must come with the extended 100,000 mile warranty, right? If it does, that's a very good deal and you won't be sorry. Go for it!!!
