I got the 1" reduction and medium spring. My whole shifter makes a terrible creaking noise upon release of the clutch while starting off from a stop in 1st gear. Ive tightened everytyhing down numerous times with loc-tite and cannot get rid of this. Im REALLY hoping the solid pivot assembly and the upgraded delrin bushings on the shifter rails will clear this up. If not, i really dont know what im gonna do to be honest, i may have swap out the entire shifter base.... Also, Anyone here install the shifter stabilizer bushing on the shifter linkage? Looks to a be a a tough diy... Thanks

Medium should be pretty good.
The bushings should be easier to do on the earlier S4's according to Jason. Mine are still in the box, waiting for the right time to go in.
