Just Ordered a Phatnoise MP3 Player... Anyone do an install of this?
Phatnoise is again selling a limited run of <a href="http://www.phatnoise.com">Phatnoise</a> players....
There are a bunch of improvements over last year's run. Check their website, but chief among them:
No more Blitz adapter -
they are offering a "Native Audi Kit"
FLAC support -
Now you can play complete mix and live
albums without the "blank spaces" between
songs that are inherent in MP3 files.
New and improved VOICE support
They are using the *extremely cool*
<a href="http://www.naturalvoices.att.com">ATT Natural Voice</a> synthesis.
Has anyone else installed the Phatbox in their trunk? Any caveats or "gotchas" during install? How's the fit? Besides the Blitz adapter or Native Audi kit, will I need any other cables?

Talk to HDClown on the Audio or A4 forum...
I would help, but I had mine professionally installed. I can help in other ways, but I use my PhatBox with a Kenwood HU, not that nasty Symphony POS! ;-P

Never installed one, but from what I've seen it's really easy...
Uses a blitzsafe adaptor which is simple. Plugs directly into your 13pin CD Changer cable and than right into the Phatnoise.
From there, press CDC on your symphony HU and your done.
Mount the phatnoise unit wherever you feel like it.
