not to mention the brilliance of the poor guy trying to equalize them...
they do a HELL of a job keeping what is probably the most mis-matched gaggle of un-likely competitors in history THAT equal. I noticed the Vipers are absent this year though.

At TMS this year, Galati's S4 was 2850...
...with 40 lbs. of camera equipment, but less driver and less 50 lb. weight penalty for winning TMS. S4 minimum for Speedvision WC is 2850 WITH driver, so they could lose another 200 lbs. if necessary, but they indicated it would be pretty expensive to do.

Nope, S4 Comp minimum weight for GT is 3050lbs with driver. It's in the rulebook.
And, they can barely get the car down to that weight. Also, each time you get a weight penalty for placing up towards the front at a race, your minimum weight goes up. So, if they were only down to 3090lbs at Sebring, they wouldn't have had to change anything for that race.
If I remember right, it's 2800lbs minimum for an A4 in Touring.
