First of all i would just like to say that this car kicks more *** then any s4 ever could, sorry to say. On our ride, shiv drifted an onramp, and the car actualy oversteered under power. I had never seen an AWD car do this before. The car is just ungodly fast, although we didnt get to push it too long. The cops quickly caught onto the fact that there was a bright red evo with stickers all over it driving around the streets.
Here is a pretty sweet drift video of it at one lap of america.

drift video

People keep comparing the STi and EVO to the S4, probably because it is turbocharged and awd, but really now the S4 is a well rounded car, not purpose-built as those two others seem to be. Of course the EVO and STI are going to outperform an S4 stock for stock. No offense to you, your post just brought it to my attention that it keeps being brought up.

But I could drift all day in my POS Jeep if I wanted to...let alone the S4. With coilovers, rear anti-sway bar, and ESP off...it isn't hard or impressive.
You seem to forget what the S4 is all about...and maybe it's time for you to give it up. For me, the 10%-15% the S4 gives up on the track to the Evo and STi is more than made up in the build quality, luxury, smoothness, and top end performance where it's orders of magnitude better. No one will accuse the S4 of being a better track car, but it sure as hell is a better all arounder. How much of your driving is spent on the track? Likely 5% at most for just about everyone here.
If you're interested in track performance, you can get a real track car that will make the Evo look like a joke for around $30k

It won its class, and its the best a 4 cylinder car has ever done. It won a few track days over all, and it placed first on the skid pad i believe. I might give up 10-15%, however, i think its actualy more like 30-40%.
and for what its worth, shivs car is way smoother then mine. Its not just a track car, it idles perfectly, has great power delivery, and drives like a stock evo when you are just crusing around.
Believe it or not, the s4 isnt exactly the best street car out there anymore. IMHO
