I know what everyone is saying... What the hell would you do that for. Well 1) I like lots of bass 2)I had these subs left over from my 97 Saab 900 SE and 3) I didn't want to have another box built. I am pretty sure that my box is the largest that can go in an audi. (measurements available on request) Approx 12" Tall 34" wide and 18" deep if I remember correctly. We had to strip every interior trim piece from the front seats back because the box was simply to large to go in the trunk opening. As well we had to do minor cutting of some metal on the upper area of the rear seat area below the rear deck on both sides. Nothing that can be seen with the trim pieces in place though. I would like to post a pic but I don't have a scanner. Anyway I have an Orion Cobalt 265 (260 watts RMS) running the subs which I think does a good job. I ran the RCAs off the pre amp a Grey wire (the installer did it not me)on the factory amp harness. Line Noise is present but is not significant. Anyway this arrangement is only temporary until I get the rest of the system in. I just thought someone may want to know just how big a sub box could be squeezed into the car.
