assuming you're right about the sensitivity...

-with the k-40 you get a cooler looking installation, and more sensitivity.

-with the V1 you get alot more information given to you. (counter, direction, etc...)

why can't someone make one with ALL the features i want dangit? until then you have to choose the feature(s) you care more about. but realize... it's a choice. you're giving up information in the name of stealthy (or the other way around)

i choose to have all the information possible. the extra information makes it easier to avoid tickets. but i also live somewhere where detectors are legal so i don't care if people see it.

on a side note... i bought the remote display. i cut it apart, and it's mounted in my instrument cluster just (well... almost...) as kool looking as yours is. the main unit is behind the mirror so i don't see it. so from the driver's perspective, it IS JUST AS stealth as the k-40. all i see is the remote display that's cut into my instrument cluster. but from the outside you CAN EASILY see it.

Actually, it does have a different LED for front and rear from what I understand.
