if I drop in the K&N high flow air filter, is there going to be any change in the sound of the car?

I have an ITG drop in air panel filter and chicken wire mesh for the wheel well liners. I have cut a hole in the bottom of my air box to get fresh cool air from the wheel well. There is not hot air coming in from this hole. It is about a 1x3 inch cut.

Those of you who say that this loses pressure from the air intake snorkel in the front have no idea of what they speak of. The snorkel in the front is in no way designed like a RAM air type intake to increase air pressure in the air box. The snorkel is also too small to let enough air in to let the engine breathe.
