Default K03, K04 and Porsche 997TT extended tip compressor wheel comparisons

Here they all are, from left to right, k03 vs. k04 vs. a set of Blouch/997TT extended TIP compressor. I took apart a set of the Blouch k04 standard upgrade to show you guys what the differences are on the cold side. I don't have any real world performance figures to show what these 997TT comp wheels do though. Maybe by the spring, if I put them in my blue car.

Default AWESOME POST.

puts in prospective who much bigger 997 wheels really are.

would be awesome if you could just do simple math to calculate the power.
if max power on k03 is x and max power on the k04 is y, and ratio k04/k03 is a.
y=x*a
therefore
997 ratio of wheels is 997/k04=b than 997power=y*b.

too bad is that easy.

I can't imagine it would be a linear relationship like that. Would be interesting to see though

Default there is one more compressor bigger than that 997 that blouch is doing, that i have on my hybrids,

but, I have not got them on the car yet, blouch said he wanted to do this wheel, that in his opinion it would flow at least 10 more horse per turbo than the 997... we shall see! Snake oil or true power!!?

this january they go on

Default I would agree, especially if hotsides are not modified in any way.

Considering the performance from true RS6 turbos (DAPs car) if someone were considering staying with K0 based turbos they seem the best option at this moment.

Default I think you're right, at this point, there doesn't seem to be much more you can

squeeze in there reliably..so far no Blouch failures, that I'm aware of.
