$800 for the TC, shipping $50 so $1150 for the install/reinstall, there are shops that do turbo..
swaps for $1150! as far as I know, you dont need to take out the engine to get access to the TC. I think he got ripped off.

Tell you what...why don't I give YOU his email address and you can tell him what you think? I doubt he'll care, but it might make you feel better? You two can sort it out...ok? Its possible he had other things done to the tran too...not just the TC. So relax...after all its not like it was your money. Point being, a L10 TC is not a real cheap nor labor easy job.
