K04 upgrade will they fit the K03 compressor and exhuast housings? I hear you can cut the stock K03 inlet lines and use them with a clamp and hose is this true?

Yes you can fit the compressor and turbine wheel of a k04 turbo into the k03 housings.....
I dont believe any modification of the inlet pipes is needed (dont see why it would be). Hybrids have been having more success recently but they would still not be as reliable as a plain jane k04. You might save some money but in the long run for peace of mind you might as well just get oem k04's... I know thats what everyone here will tell you.

I thought about this for a long time, but in the long run its just not worth it. Get K04's...
there was even a set of K03/K16's for $1000 but still, K04's FTW. Should be ordering very soon.
