Default K04 time! Advice needed, please read (longish). Any used downpipes or cat backs available?

You've probably seen Mat at induktion posting about his customer with the blown turbo. That would be none other than yours truly. Both Mat and Ed have been incredibly helpful, and I can tell you that if I need work done to my car, I'm taking it to Induktion, no question. Standup guys.

I've done extensive searching about what to do in this situation on a budget, and come up with a few items that I should address. Since the engine will be off, here's I wanted to have done: K04s put in (with 5 bar FPR at Eds recommendation), downpipes and cat back exhaust installed, stock IC end tanks "welded" on with JB Weld or equivalent, and oil supply lines wrapped with exhaust wrap (per VonK). Anything else that I'm missing? I was going to do timing belt and clutch, but just don't have the money right now. Christmas is coming after all!

I'm looking for used downpipes or cat-back exhaust systems. I need cats on the downpipes too. Can I get opinions on LaBree's split DPs? How do they rate in comparison to APRs DPs? What about overall? As for cat back systems, I'm leaning toward the Neuspeed G2 if I can't find a lightly used one, simply because I like the sound and it's one of the cheaper ones. Will this give me decent performance with the rest of the setup?

Thanks so much

Just be careful. You are going down a very dangerous road.

I would consider just doing the clutch now, Spec Stage II or at least an RS4 clutch.

Default I have a set of Gen 1 APR DP's. One of the mesh-bellows connectors needs to be replaced.

The downpipe assemblies are coated in HPC HiPerCoat Extreme and the Cat and testpipe sections are coated in the regular HiPerCoat.

I also have a VM2 with both sets of tips and a HiPerCoated VM3 with some damage.

Default Some points: I would most likely use a 4 bar fpr on the car, need

to know what ECU, injectors and fuel pump you are using. As for downpipes, we have Autospeed 3" or stock S4 ones that we can do a deal on. If you are tight on money, we have an installer in your general area that will be cheaper. Ed is cool, but we had several customers go to our Audi guy for cheaper installs.
