I've got stock injectors and fuel pump, but will be using a Giac X chip ver8 most likely after the install. What kind of deals are we talking on the downpipes? Stock S4 downpipes for piggifying you mean? Please email me some prices. Thanks

...and I was only using a 4 bar FPR. When I "upgraded" from piggie pipes to Autospeed downpipes, the car actually started running worse from 4k-6k though -- maybe a 5 bar FPR would help that. I've still got piggies in my garage and will have the A-box ECU out of the car after this weekend in all likelihood (going AWE).

like the injectors, fuel pump, new MAF, etc (such as in the AWE kit) wouldn't hurt the engine? I would worry that it's running to lean. Did you ever run your setup side by side with x-chip K03 software? I'm curious if the beta APR K04 s/w gives you a big difference in perf. Thanks for your help.

...in fact the people sucking my exhaust fumes and feeling the intimidation of the flames out of my exhaust when I'd shift would probably say I was running rich (even if that meant the injectors were static). Last year, I had the opportunities to do side-by-sides from 50ish to 90ish with an MTM Stage III car (MTM downpipes, FPR) and an APR Stage II+ car (AWE downpipes) and pulled a solid 3 car lengths on both of them in that short race.

doesn't require the 5 bar. Car will run rich with it. My car runs somewhat rich with the APR v5.0 and the 5 bar. I don't see any cat temps above ~700 with it on WOT runs. However, I swapped in an MTM stage III ECU (which when puchased from MTM requires a 5 bar) and the car ran stoich. I have yet to lean out the car, however, if I were to go this route again, I don't think I would put the 5 bar in for running on APR or GIAC K03 software. Just my .02. BTW, when getting the work done...drop by near the shop during the day and try the pit beef from the trailer out front...ed can vouch...its pretty damn good.

/adhesive. Its bascially black goop that you smear around the end tanks where they meet the IC core. (Props to Zapco for that one)

Running rich is something I'd like to stay away from, if for no other reason than gas mileage!
So you went with a similar upgrade path than I'm choosing? Are you having any issues? Anything that I should address? I've selected LaBree split DPs and probably Neuspeed G2 exhaust. I'm hoping this will all turn out ok. Thanks for your help.
