Has anyone done this? Can the s/w cope with different turbos without any changes? Do I need to do anything else i.e. inlet pipes or is it a straight swap?
Thanks in advance.
Thanks in advance.

ups: your car will be faster and you won't have to spend money on fuel/air and software for full stage 3.
downs: your car won't be as fast as it could be. you could run lean at high rpms as the injectors max out.

I have heard that stage I/II programs can run lean when K-04's are installed, but more testing on your specific setup would be needed to confirm this.
O.CT made me a code set for my initial, post-fried-K-03 setup. I had O.CT K-04's and Milltek Exhaust for several months while I was saving for Stage 4, and this was a good way to be sure the turbos, temps, timing etc... were in a safe range.
It would be worth sending a note, or calling Bob at Stratmosphere and discuss what you want to achieve, and see if O.CT is right for you.
BTW, a reasonable insurance policy, unless you seek tuning specific to your setup, would be to install a 5-bar FPR. This way, the lambda system will take care of things during normal driving, and you'll be running richer (5 bar FPR provides about 12% more fuel than 4 bar) at WOT.
As mentioned elsewhere here, you can tell a bit about how out-of-shape you are by monitoring EGT's and timing retard. This will let you know if you're running lean (hot) or if knocking is present.
