Seriously folk, need some help here. Do I really need an APR Bi-Pipe? Or can I get away with some better clamps and clean off the throttle body with some gasoline and stick it with some hairspray and some tighter clamps?

Mean time I'm gonna take out the AMS ECU and replace with stock until I get this figured out. Not worth blowing 2500$ in work/parts.
You do not "need" a bipipe, but an upgraded TBB and better clamps are surely in order.

It probably is a problem with the clamps, but with increased boost levels you'll want something reinforced anyway. I've heard hairspray works, too, but you still want better clamps at a minimum.

Default or this one

But you'll still likely want better clamps.

What is the recommended cure here? The APR Bi-Pipe? Or can I get some better clamps and use hairspray?!

Also had a weird thing happen when accelerating the dash would beep twice and the ebrake 'brake' light would flash a couple times...

Thanks for the help.
Reclock??? huh...
this **** is funny!!!

Do you park outside? How cold?

Notchy when cold is fairly normal. Not going into reverse is a problem.

I doubt its a lack of trans fluid. Is it possible that something, somehow, got mis-aligned?

When I put in my short shifter, it took me 45 minutes to get it so that all my gears lined up correctly.

It's parked in the garage at night. Cold as in the water temp is at zero, and oil temp is pegged cold. So it might be like 68deg outside here in Tampa. After the water temp reaches the middle and the oil temp gauge pops up some reverse is fine.

I'm thinking I will have to do a shifter realign... seems odd though.
