Default Kinesis K59's.... hit?

Toying with the idea of changing my wheels. What do you guys thinks of the K59's? Think they look too dated?<ul><li><a href="http://pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/jhoff48302/detail?.dir=a663&amp;.dnm=9107.jpg&amp;.src=ph">K5 8's... slightly smaller but same design as K59's</a></li></ul>

I'd trade a set of Ott. RZ's I have for them...One of my favorites.

Default Yep, however....

They are butter soft.

I had my K27's for two years and they were so soft...I smiled two lips pretty bad enough to blow the tire off.

That said...the shot-peened and anodized centers are just plain drop dead. I'd go HRE before doing Kinesis again. And if you do it...definately get the reverse dropped centers.

These are the regular K27's with the standard stepped lip on them...

The reverse dropped centers result in a straight lip, with a smooth rolled edge, instead of the stepped lip...These are my Aero's but the Kinesis R series would be the same (btw, the HRE R series are the same too...)

K58's versus K59R's...I would hit these repeatedly if they weren't so soft.
