see the article about "Bob's" car. Same performance kit we sell to customers. Just want to see what a kit you could run every day looks like in that environment. -Pete, Strat

Don't you have like 9 other cars anyway? Let me borrow your motor for a week.

...a friend of mine from high school (while were in high school) had just picked up a brand new showroom floor 93 Cobra Mustang (to replace the tried and true z28 camaro that had been doing the street racing).
This thing was nice for an 18yr old, and it had pep back in 1993.
At any rate, up pools the junkyard special, early 70's camaro, easily 4 different colors (on varying body panels) and most were really just different color primer.
Then the camaro starts revving at my buddy in the mustang, who was all too willing to ablige. I was riding shotgun in the mustang. Light turned green, we headed out, and just after the 1-2 shift, the camaro starts pulling, and pulling and pulling, and as the black smoke from the exhaust increased, it only furthered the pain my friend was feeling. He got the full on *** kicking, and he's not a shabby driver so it wasn't a bogged launch or a misshift.
Never underestimate the junkyard special, that was a good lesson learned that afternoon.
