at the top of the struts to access the rebound adjustment. Compression adjustment is done from the bottom of the shocks, so you just need to put the car up on jackstands.

There are a few of our customers with B5 S4 and B5 A4 cars that have done this to their cars, so hopefully they'll speak up before people gawk at cutting sheetmetal.
