KW Variant 3 differences between S4 and RS4
I spoke to KW and they told me that the springs and shocks are about 8 % stiffer for the RS4 set than for the [heavy A4/S4] set. They don't recommend the RS4 set for the S4 as it is not TUV (national technical DMV) approved for the S4 and there could be hassles with inspections. I don't live in Germany, so he said I could use either. He also said the that the A4/S4 set would have no problem handling a car with 300+ hp
To adjust the rebound damping when the shock is installed, a hole has to be drilled in the shock towers to reach the adjustment spindle
I will be getting the RS4 set for my MY2001.5 S4
