L Box

Are there any other compatable?

J for instance?

An L box should be compatable with AA box I think.

L is for a 2001.5 tip if so a AA box for a 2002 tip should work as well.

AA Box should work...

You could use a J box as well, but you'll have to recode your instrument cluster with VAG-COM or similar.

J box is considered to be less "tuneable" for some reason as well.

AA works fine as mine was L box flashed to AA with no probs for the AWE stage III code

yes it works. i run an mtm AA box in place of my stock L.
