Just looking for some feedback on an interesting development:
Under medium throttle coming right after the 4-3 3-2 downshifts, when the trans upshifts in D back into 4th the trans appears to slip and shudder for a split second. If I let off the gas or continue on the gas (either way) it will stop and shift into 5th. I can't recreate the issue in Tip mode only in "D".
It almost seems like there is a conflict between the TCU and the L10 hardware. But I've also experienced an odd shudder when in 4th gear medium on throttle in Tip mode and then let off right away…this has only happened ONCE. 4th gear just seems quirky for some reason.
Under any other circumstances the trans shifts great. Light throttle, low-RPM shifting is perfect and full-throttle, WOT, high RPM shifts are fine as well.
My shop put in Amsoil ATF and insisted it stuck better than the stock stuff. I'm wondering if this is an ATF issue (IE the Amsoil not cutting it or somehow low on ATF...hadnt had a chance to check) or is it an indication of the reliability of the L10 setup. Remember, I'm not even running full Stage 3 so it is not like I'm throwing oodles of power at this trans.
Lastly, I changed my TCU coding to 00022 (from 00032) and these issues started popping up...I'm wondering if re-enabling the full learning ability of the TCU is also causing problems.
Any and all input appreciated!

which means it thinks taht it can only handle so much torque. Its really a case of the car trying to be smarter than it needs to be. I feel that a tcu chip needs to be made in order for the L10 stuff to be as smooth and fast as it should be

?
I also looked into using AMSOIL ATF but I called them it didnt meet all the requirements that the transmission needed, so I used teh stocker stuff works fine.

I think the hardware is shifting faster than the software thinks. The trans shifts fine into 4th then all of a sudden slips for that split second. I am going to recode the TCU back to 00032 and see what happens.
Thanks gentlemen!

After the trans downshifts all the way into 2nd (say when slowing down for a light), if I get on the thorttle again (not lightly but medium throttle), when it upshifts back through the gears, it shifts into 4th then will slip and shudder for a split second. It will shift into 5th like it should whether I let off the gas or keep on it. It is reproducable as well.
