Large evap leak detected. i look near the exhaust and sure enough the black hose

Default Large evap leak detected. i look near the exhaust and sure enough the black hose
is touching the exhaust. what can i do to solve this. what problems can a evap leak make. any loss in power. thanks

on mine i covered it with heat wrap/heat tape and moved so it would not hit my cat back

I moved it and covered the hole with epoxy type material

me too. Found the exhaust clamp bolt rubbed a hole into it. Rotated it and filled it with steel epox
